About the Tours

Tour Description

We’ll meet your group at the gates of the historic Boston Common, the country’s oldest park where cattle once grazed, public hangings took place and British troops camped before the Revolution

We’ll walk with you along brick sidewalks shaded by leafy trees, lit by gas lamps and lined with rows of 19th century brick townhouses. Knowledgeable guides, we’ll talk about the architecture and history of those homes, tell wonderful stories about the artists, writers and dignitaries who once owned them, and share amusing anecdotes and trivial tidbits about life in the neighborhood then and now.

As we walk, we’ll step beyond those brick facades into three of our homes. Your clients will get a rare glimpse of how these homes have been restored and decorated with our own personal touches, and how we live 21st century lives in homes as old as 200 years.
